About Dr. El-Harasis
Dr. El-Harasis is an American board certified senior invasive consultant cardiologist with over 25 years of experience in the field of Cardiology. He completed his clinical training as a medical student in Chicago, USA followed by an Internal Medicine residency, and further fellowships in Adult Cardiology and Invasive Cardiology at Seton Hall University in the United States. He is experienced in treating cardiovascular disease in inpatient and outpatient settings, along with performing an array of diagnostic and therapeutic investigations and interventions including echocardiography, electrocardiography, stress testing, coronary catheterization, percutaneous coronary intervention and cardiac pacing. He has an active interest in research, with numerous publications and conference presentations in the Middle East, Europe and the United States. In addition, he has served as Chief of Medicine in multiple hospitals and is an active clinical teacher and medical examiner.
After 26 years in the United States, Dr. Ahmad returned to his homeland, Jordan and runs a comprehensive cardiovascular clinic with diagnostic facilities in-house in central Amman. He also performs cath lab interventions and provides hospital consults to patients in hospitals all over Amman.
